If you are using a fine-spray attachment, we recommend masking all areas that you do not want to be covered by the spray. Remove furniture from the room or cover it up. There is a short How-to-do instruction sheet on how to mask properly.
It depends on the surface and why you are masking, but a variety of different masking materials are suitable, e.g.: foil, paint cover fleece and masking tape. It is worth making sure that the masking tape sticks well. Your local DIY shop should have a wide range of different options.
When you are using solvent-based paints you should make sure the room you are working in is well ventilated. And if necessary, use a respirator. Follow the instructions provided by the manufacturer.
Sprayed paint always causes some atomised spray, therefore we do recommend wearing a face mask. If you are using materials that contain pesticides or fungicides then you should definitely wear a respirator. Follow the instructions provided by the manufacturer.
Keep your work area clean and tidy. Do not use the device in an explosive area.

Clean the device after each project. And there are also some parts of the device that need to be lubricated from time to time. We also recommend checking the permeability of the air filter every so often and to replace it as required. You can find information about this in the operating manual.
You can keep paint for a long time, providing it has not been diluted with water and is kept in an air-tight container. If it is diluted with water, germs can get into the paint, which have a negative effect on the paint. (Mould formation)

There will be information about disposing paint on the paint container. Paint is usually categorised as special waste.
Do not throw the device away with your household refuse. Take the device to your local waste management centre or ask in a specialist shop.
In the DIY segment, WAGNER currently only supplies paint rollers for exterior paint. (E.g. W3500, HandiRoll 550, TurboRoll 550). As a result of external circumstances, using DIY devices to spray paint on exterior walls is not an optimal solution. However there are numerous alternatives in the skilled-worker segment.
